Karla and the Divide, an album of new music from the Wellington based chamber jazz ensemble,
the Noveltones.

The title track is a newly minted two part suite commissioned by the Wellington Jazz Festival in 2020 that was premiered at the opening concert. It sonically explores ideas of societal change, ideas of where people who settled in NZ during our history wanted their children and children's children to be, and where we all are now.

Balancing the epic aural journey is our version of a rave number that was inspired by a simple kernel of admonishment, Don't Be So Harsh there matey....
